I baked and forgot to blog about it
I wouldn’t want to live without bread, so I have been baking over the last weeks. Proof follows. These breads and baked things would deserve a post, in one way or another.
Bäcker Süpke’s ‘Grumpy tin loaf aka Bernd’
Jürgen Dollase’s tomatoe bread from the book Kochuniversität: Tomaten. This was a very quick bread and as a sandwich loaf not halfway bad. Apparently I even economized on mixing time, hence the white spots where the tomato purée did not quite get to the flour.
